Nurture Yourself.

You know those feelings when you wake up and you feel a bit “off”?…I call it being out of vibrational alignment with your natural self. At times I get so out of alignment that doing the simplest of tasks like going to the grocery store or bank seems overwhelming. I don’t hide the fact that I deal with anxiety issues at times and the busyness of my mind can literally take me into feeling states of doubt and worry that doesn’t feel good at all. If your human I’m sure you can all resonate with what I’m saying. And for you blessed souls that don’t have any of these feelings I envy you. The one thing I do know, is that your not alone if you feel like this on many occasions. That’s why I’ve touched so many times on how important it is to have a loving support network of family and friends that can be there for you when you are in these states of mind.

 Lately I’ve been practicing more meditation which seems to open up the energy channels and creativity I have throughout the day. Thank god for Youtube and their guided meditations, there’s lots on there. Try it, find a few that work for you and see the enormous benefits they have to offer. It’s so very important that we take time for ourselves throughout the day. To nurture ourselves with good thoughts that impact ourselves and the people around us. The affirmation “I’m so grateful for…..” fill in the blank, is my favorite. Just remember if you don’t take time for yourself you won’t be able to give your best, and feel your best.

Control your Emotions

 There’s a lot of tests we go through in life with business and relationships with others. My god when I was a little younger I remember my coping mechanisms weren’t that great. I used to lose my temper pretty quick when things didn’t go my way with sports, finances or any other of life’s hurdles that the universe throws at us. Now whatever the case I really try and deal with any issue that arises in my life with a sense of calmness and dignity. Even though I don’t like to accept sometimes what ever issue is on the table, it’s just not healthy to get angry and upset. The emotion of anger puts strain on your heart and releases chemicals that cause stress and anxiety, that has a negative effect on the whole of the physical body.

 Also the more we fight against the resistance of what is happening will persist even longer if we feed negative emotions towards the issue. Deep breaths I tell myself, and that if you focus on a good outcome generally we”ll realize that whatever the issue, it isn’t as big as we thought it out to be. People will respect the individual that handles him or herself with dignity and grace rather than someone who can’t contain their emotions. When  issues of worry come about, take a few steps back and try and think of what is good in your life. Be gentle on the situation and you’ll be surprised on how the outcome will usually play out in a harmonious way. I’m not saying be a push over, but being in control of your emotions is a very important thing for not only your own well being but the people around you.

Shoot for the stars

 Have you ever felt like there’s something more that you want to do with your life? From my vantage point I’m always looking for inspiration and when I meet people that are doing great things with their lives in family life or business it always gets me “juiced” to better myself in all aspects of my own life. I’m a firm believer that good things happen to good people. But what separates the people that realize their dreams to their full capacity is the way they believe in themselves. I find people that have the “success consciousness”imbedded in their belief system have their dreams crystallized into physical reality more rapidly. It’s easy as knowing what you desire and firing more heat or “lighting more fire” under your desire. Surround yourself with and alliance of people that believe in you and make you even better. Aim high and relax and enjoy the experience of allowing your powerful thought energy make way for what you intend.

To all my friends that inspire me I thank you! And I wish for everyone else that is doing good  for you to realize your untapped potential and find peace and harmony.

Awakenings

 As we ride the waves of our physical experience on this planet and become aligned with who we truly are, which is love and joy and unlimited possibilities we can get really good at creating better experiences in our lives. Creating more space for ourselves and others from a deeper inner level. A lot of people talk about being awakened to a higher energy or spirit. Awakenings can happen many times in our lives, but what is an awakening? For myself it was the awakening to allowing myself to be who I truly am. Getting back to the nature I was as a child yet incorporating the wisdom that I’ve picked up along my physical trail with so many experiences and trying not to label them as “good” or “bad” , Just accepting the fact that you are special and have the power to create a life of feeling good most of the time. Isn’t it all about feeling good? Laughing and loving more? That sure makes me feel good! And there’s so many people that are realizing their true nature in this time space reality or generation that we live in. So many of us are realizing through reading books and watching films that we become what we think! Our brain becomes magnetized with the dominating thoughts we feed it! I’ve touched on this before and I have to practice visualization on a regular basis to prove this to myself. So awake and assert yourself TODAY! Live life on the edge of your comfort zone and don’t be afraid to take risks, there’s no time for regrets. Chase your dreams and smile!!

Focus Towards Desires

 Inspired by my fifth birthday and the movie Kingpin I went bowling last night! Just kidding!! Although I did go bowling last night with some awesome people and the experience was great. As much fun as it was I couldn’t help but being a little on the competitive side, I guess it’s programmed into my nature. It’s funny because with anything in life when you focus on what’s in front of you,whatever it is. Visualization in attainment of whatever it is that your aiming for and the power of focus is always responsible for your success. The practices go for anything in life. Sports, business, friendships, knitting..you get my drift. Look at any pro golfer and see the intense focus on their faces before a putt. Pro golfers will tell you  that 90 percent of the game is played between their ears. Or a basketball player at the free throw line. Everything in life comes down to focus and desire. And the intensity towards that in which you pinpoint your focus will determine the amount of success we as individuals or corporate alliances have. Everything is relative in proportion to what we focus on.

Keep It Simple

It’s funny, as the days of my life go on and I see how my life has evolved I really look at life in such a different perspective. The things that mattered to me the most a few years ago have taken a back seat. I find the easiest way to get into the flow of mindfulness and peace, is to keep our lives as simple as possible. I always feel out of vibrational alignment when I’m trying to force things to happen. And it’s when I feel “off” in the slightest that I try to constantly remind myself that I’m not in control of what others think and do. We do all possess one thing in common that’s so powerful. That’s the freedom to think for ourselves and make sound choices based on what we believe in as right or wrong. The trick is trying not to take to many things on at once. And accepting that even though we all share a connectedness, our thoughts vary to certain degrees. Whenever I feel “off” a bit I just have to stop myself in my tracks and realize that my heart is beating, I have a brain that works and I have the choice to keep it simple and use it to the potential I desire. I’ve been very hard on myself in the past, and thank god for friends in my life that have told me that in order to be happy and content I need to just forgive myself and burn all past misfortunes and use them as tools to help others and create more space for growth in my own life. So on life goes, and what a glorious blessing it is to have the freedom to create. Do what you love, and do it often….And some friendly words of advice, just keep it simple.

BRAIN MANIFESTATION

 The brain with all it’s capacity to learn and figure out problems is such a fascinating intricate piece of machinery. With all it’s vast networks and unlimited possibilities it’s this organ where thought’s are processed and put into ideas. In turn the brain sends signals to the body which put ideas into action. The brain works best when it is stimulated on a high frequency where it can pick up thought vibrations from the ether from the minds of others brains vibrating on a similar nature. In terms easy to understand, when you are thinking ultra positive thoughts of good feeling emotions and can hold your thought patterns on those  vibrations. The individual will in turn attract experiences of that which he or she thinks into their experience. The manifestation process all begins with powerful thought forces. The tricky part for some, including myself at times is losing focus on the desires which one truly wants. First you have to expect it! you have to BELIEVE it ! And you have to feel the essence of your desire as if you already posses it. And in accordance to the laws of nature, the universe will bend to your demands from it that which you seek. The trick is to hold the focus. Talk often about the positive and be gentle and at ease as much as you can while “allowing” your desires into your being. Always keep this in mind – Everything in the seen world was created in thought form before being manifested into solid reality. From the biggest buildings to the shoes on your feet. Everything is truly ENERGY. And the highest form of energy is the vibration of your own thoughts. That’s how special you are! You have that much power to control your own destiny and create what it is you want in life. I always start with LOVE, send out as much love as you can TODAY with all your soul and see what comes magnetized back. Don’t expect anything…Just be open and you won’t be surprised at what you see.

New Friendships

One of the greatest gifts that we have on earth is the contrast of life and meeting new people. I just take so much joy out of meeting new people that are like minded and on the same level as I am these days. The saying “like attracts like” is so very true. You all know the feeling I’m talking about, the feeling that when you meet that person for the first time, you connect on a deep level and it’s as if you’ve known that person for ever. That’s the gift, the gift that there’s so many special people out there to meet. And that’s what gives us that joyous excitement of freshness to new days with endless possibilities. What a rush it is when you have so much in common and then the opportunity to create new ideas for personal and world growth in a positive direction. It’s so satisfying and fulfilling when you can draw happiness from others that make you smile and bring you into a state of knowing your not the only one who’s dealing with certain issues pertaining to relationships business or whatever it may be. I just love people, and taking the time to get to know others is such a blessing. That’s what life is all about. Because through learning about others you find out hidden mysteries about yourself in them a lot of the times.

Take the time for everyone, we all have something to offer.

Gratitude Attitude

I was just reading a book by M.J Ryan called Attitudes of Gratitude. I’ve been practicing a few gratitude rituals myself for many years now that really seem to work. The first one I started was many years ago, and the process was before I left home in the morning I would write down off the top of my head what I was truly grateful for. Within a very short time I could feel my vibration rising and a sense of well being overcoming my body, mind and soul. It’s a great way to start of the morning and I still practice it on most days. I also have had many gratitude rocks that I carry with me at all times and during the course of the day when I”m feeling a bit down, or even really high on life I would give the rock a good squeeze and just give thanks for my life and everything around me. I’ve lost many of those rocks, I’ve given many away. Now since living in that state of Gratitude and thankfulness I don’t usually need more than just my mind to constantly be in that state. I’ve trained my mind to appreciate and accept each moment as glorious even if it’s a moment I don’t like. If I hear heart wrenching news I just accept it as part of the journey and low and behold the feeling dwindles fairly fast and I feel more balanced and grounded.  Living in this state of mindful awareness and gratitude will enhance your health and immune system. It releases the essential brain chemicals that make us happier and experience more joy. Try saying to yourself when you open your eyes in the morning ” I’m so grateful for my life”, that’s a great start.

The Time is Now

 Have you ever wanted to do something so bad but are just afraid to do it? It’s funny how in most cases everything that is holding us back in doing something that we truly desire in life is fear based. So many of us are afraid of what “they” may say, or what if? Or I’ll do it some other time..you get my drift. I know that fear has rippled through my being on many occasions in my life when I’ve taken on new projects, gone on a trip or even had to talk to someone that I’d rather not have. But it’s through my experience that in most cases, if we just face our fears, go through them and challenge ourselves the reward is mighty big. We’re all here to create awesome life experiences and more joy. The only way we’re ever going to be truly satisfied in the moment is if we start tackling our goals with intention.

 I was scared to death of heights for a long period of time in my not so distant past. So I decided that going bungee jumping would be the cure. It took me a few days to get the courage. But I did it, and when I did I loved the experience and gained a powerful insight as to what fear is all about. Fear is a state of mind that we cultivate ourselves usually from some form of trauma in our early childhood. Fear has so many roots and causes as well, hence why the majority of people aren’t as open as we all should be. Past relationships not working out hinders new ones from forming, old jobs that didn’t work as we thought can create us to settle for mediocrity. The only way we can conquer fear is to do our best to let the past go and live on the edge of our comfort zone. The greatest prize so many times is on the other side of our greatest fear. We’re here to face the world and LIVE! So make today a memorable one and believe in yourself as not only being deserving of all the amazing things this world has to offer, but in essence the possibilities are endless.
