Past is the past/ Bridge the gap.

Many of us out there are constantly thinking of the past. The” what if’s?”, “I should have”, “If I only had done it this way?” You get my drift. When we our thinking in the past we bring that dominant vibration into our powerful now which is the only reality that is real. The past is the past! There is nothing we can do with past situations and circumstances other than learn from them and bring wisdom into the present. Our duty as humans is to experience many emotions along our physical trail and that includes making “mistakes’ if we chose to call them that. Whenever we are happy talking about the good in our lives and others we are planning a future event, when we worry we are planning a future event as well. We are constantly attracting the dominant vibrations we are sending out in the nature of our thoughts. Instead of trying to think about it, try and feel it. When we look into the past at a situation that didn’t please us, it doesn’t feel good. Obviously the same goes for when we are thinking of good times, it usually puts a smile on our faces. So the trick in our lives is to focus on relaxing ourselves into our true nature of love and peace. God knows I sure have my moments. My friends see me at my best and worst and they sure as heck know when I’m not relaxed allowing the positive energy to flow into my being. I get restless and have a tough time concentrating. But thank god I know what my issues are these days. I’m just giving an example. A very close friend saw me last week and I just got off a plane. I was so excited to be in a new city. But I was riddled with some anxiousness and it didn’t feel good. She told me to focus on an event or anything that brings me joy. So I did…I thought about kids and their laughter and innocence. That took me into a place of comfort and gradually before I knew it I had bridged the gap of feeling anxious and good feelings became activated into my being. Now is all we really have, so try and send good thoughts of what makes you feel good. We all deserve to feel good if we’re treating ourselves and others with respect. Live with no regrets and fill your heart with joy…One more thing, it’s okay to get upset and angry at times, but try and let go as fast as possible because that is what you will attract more of as the moments pass.

Stay Cool. Much Love and Happiness

PERSISTENCE for SUCCESS

For anyone out there that is striving towards a goal of any shape or form, he or she must possess one very important trait, PERSISTENCE! So many people give up at the first signs of failure and throw in the towel before they get any desirable results because they lack the power of will. With persistence you WILL succeed! In most cases people look at successful people when they are at the top of their game. They fail to realize all the years of hard work and dedication to that which they have succeeded in. No matter whatever anyone tells you, if you think what it is that you want in life is right, GO FOR IT!!!! Burn all past failures and zone in on the goal of your desire. Remember we are today because of the dominating thoughts we saturate our minds with. So however badly you want your goal will depend on how much energy is focused on your major purpose in life. The people that arrive at the top of their chosen calling cut all sails of retreat and BELIEVE in themselves so much that there is NO room for failure. I think it would be a good idea to eliminate the word failure out your vocabulary, if you really want to fully realize your goals and true potential. I’m writing this for all of you that are dreamers and crave success in whatever your chosen occupation. Saturate your mind with your goal every second you can and feel it in your own mind as if you’ve already reached it. And the most important thing..do what you love and have fun!!!

NYC bound, Thx L.A.

Off to NYC tomorrow for my first time. I’m really looking forward to my new home and the fact I’ve never been there makes it even more exciting. Return to Happiness the film will be finished in the next week. And what better place to finish off the film that shows some awesome people from there performing selfless acts of giving in Cambodia. I’m so grateful to everyone in Santa Monica and L.A. for making my stay one to remember. Much thanks, for five months of hard work and energy from Khalil Michot. The next few months will be exciting and .

Hurdles and Challenges

It’s my humble opinion that the greatest of all achievements are often accomplished right on the brink of throwing in the towel on a goal to that which we are striving. Bumps and hurdles a long the journey towards a worthy goal is what makes it all worth while in the end if we stick it out and keep believing in our selves and the people that we create with. Nobody ever said it was going to be easy this game of life. But when a hurdle or challenge comes your way accept it as nothing more than a test. This goes for everything in life. And I know the easiest solution is to lose our cool and react with disappointment. But the people that get the prize in the end are the ones that push on against all odds and are in many cases bountifully rewarded . Don’t ever give up on your dreams. Don’t ever under estimate what you have inside you to make things happen in accordance to your thoughts. I always have to tell myself to just BREATH.

Much Success to all friends.

Being a Single Parent.

Close to thirteen years ago I had the miracle of life unfold right before my eyes. I witnessed my beautiful daughter enter the world  named Sadie in Wichita Kansas. I had just turned 24 a few days before and going back into that time of my life I wasn’t well prepared. Hockey led me to Wichita and I had the blessing of meeting a very sweet and loving girl. Being away from home and having an extreme lifestyle didn’t do wonders for our relationship obviously. The realities of any professional athlete is that they  have to make a lot of sacrifices in life  in our to get paid for something they love to do. I guess you could say that chapter of my life was a whirlwind considering how fast everything was moving. Now years later my baby girl is almost a teenager. Coming from a mans perspective I can’t imagine how hard it is to have so many things changing on the inside and out.

All I can remember was always wondering where I fit in. Being the cool guy or a jock , I felt I had to live up to a certain image. I sympathize with young people these days, as there’s countless adds everywhere on what you should look like, or if facebook is aloud, twitter, I-phone..You get my drift. It’s a fast paced society for everyone to take in. I remember when I was a kid it was a bit simpler. The fact of the matter in my life is that I don’t see my daughter very often. If I had my dream I would have been there daily in the past. But I made some choices that made it impossible. When a child is in a broken home, or without her real mother and father it can be very overwhelming. My heart goes out to all you single parents that don’t get the opportunity to see your child grow.

As long as we can do the best we can. There’s no book that has the complete instructions on how to be a perfect parent. And I’m sure no handbooks on being single parent. What’s important is TODAY! and just trying to set as good of example as we possibly can. Change is obvious, we all grow so quick. Sometimes I forget the fact I’m still not a youngster myself. But with age comes wisdom and different ways to look at life and everything that we stand for. Hat’s off to all the parents that have put their dreams on the shelf so their kids could have the best life possible.

Inspriation/ thanks

Inspiration isn’t just a word it’s a feeling!! I would like to take this time to express my sincere gratitude to all my family and friends that have stuck by me through thick and thin. I know I’m not the easiest character to figure out at times but having so many amazing people that inspire me to be myself and do whatever I can to help is what drives me.  We are living in a changed world with endless options. Surround yourself with people that make you feel good about yourself. Eliminate the word “can’t” from your vocabulary. Today is the first day of the rest of your life. LIVE IT AND LOVE IT!!!!

PEACE FRIENDS- THANK YOU, Ry

The Lottery of Life

I got into a conversation the yesterday about how blessed we all are to be living on this earth. I know I get very overwhelmed with technology and staying in the present moment can be tough at times when there’s so much going on all around us. That’s why my dream is to have a cabin in the middle of nowhere on a nice peaceful lake. Being close to nature always makes me feel at one with the universe. Walks in the woods always open up my mind. Don’t get me wrong I love the big cities of the world, but to have the best of both is ultimately the dream.

My friend and I got into this conversation how everyone on this planet is a winner. We all won the lottery of life!! You are here, that was the biggest race. Now what are you going to do with your life that makes you the most content and fulfilled. Think about it for a second, actually even better feel it! You are all the chosen ones. Life moves fast, but we all need to embrace what’s in front of us right now! We are meant to live a joyous expansive life full of new experiences and people. Even if your not happy with what your doing in your life, just know that you are so much bigger than your what you do to make a living. There’s endless possibilities to explore and it’s all for the taking! This is your world that is here for you to create anything you imagine. I know a lot of people think it’s funny, but just writing down what you appreciate in life raises your vibration. Just 5 to 10 things that you appreciate the most. Write it down with feeling and it will make you think. I just wrote mine actually on my phone memo, so I can go back and remind myself whenever I need. Good thing for technology…

Happy Memorial day to all My American friends
And have an Awesome day to everyone else.

Your Inner Child

As we grow up in life and become “adults” a lot of us lose the inner child inside. I had a hilarious talk with a great friend last night, we got into talking about the way it was when we were kids. Firstly the only way we lose that inner child is if we allow it to vanish. We get so bombarded with what’s going on with work issues, making money and the environment we’re surrounded in. Of course the reality of life, is that we do take on more responsibilities as we grow. I remember clear as day my parents telling me to enjoy being young, “your only young once”. We’re usually so busy with activities and new discoveries as kids that we miss the point.

You can never completely lose that child inside of you. If you remember back when you were young I’m sure you can reflect on many moments when you laughed so hard  you couldn’t stop. I remember at my home having to sneak the phone into my room and talk “really softly” so I wouldn’t get in trouble. In most cases I would get away with it for a while until my folks became aware of it. Everything was new and exciting! I was always into sports and music, so the anticipation for a new season was always welcomed with dreams and goals as I was pretty competitive. Now in my thirties I often ask myself where all the time has gone. But embracing our age and injecting that inner child keeps me rolling along pretty good in most cases. Obviously there’s times we need to be serious. But at the end of the day you live once. We need to have fun and work with what we have in order to experience long lasting joy.

My friend and I replayed our youth on the phone last night, pretending that our parents were home and we had to be VERY QUIET on the phone. Sounds dorky, but what the heck we sure laughed. A lot of us have experienced drama and events that have stuck to us on the inside that makes it a little tougher to have those laughs. Well I’ve said it before, laughter is medicine for the soul. We just need to learn to let go, no matter what, in order to be present and happy in the moment. I do know one thing, we have to be gentle on ourselves. Rid yourself of worry and surround yourself with positive people. Why do you think so many of us feel amazing when we’re around kids? maybe it’s because we need to be in that state of mind a lot of the time to feel what life truly is. Freedom, peace of mind and joyous expansion…

MUCH LOVE KIDS – Ryan

Questions/Answers

Every day we are constantly asking ourselves questions. What if?, When will? Why won’t he or she? ect…You get my point. Sometimes it’s very tough to stay focused on what we have that is so good when “things” keep entering our minds. Our minds are only as busy as we let them be. Life is a journey that needs to be taken one step at a time. If you stop for a moment, and really feel life flowing through you, you can feel the expansion of how the energy never ceases to be. Everyday is chance to expand on what we know and be open to new things. Our questions are usually answered. Sometimes we don’t like the outcomes, but accepting the outcomes and moving on without letting whatever it is effect us in a negative way will surely keep you on the right path vibrationally so you will only attract that which you truly desire. So many of us these days think that once we achieve a state of wealth or attain a certain status that we will be more satisfied and content. Yes it’s nice to have “stuff” and it can make us feel good for a time. But our true connection to feeling good comes through LOVE!  You don’t have to love everyone, but start with yourself and see where that takes you. Be grateful for your health as there’s so many people suffering these days. If there’s something you can do to help another person..do it with an open heart and see how that makes you feel. One moment at a time, one day at a time. Everyone in this world has been giving a beautiful gift, now it’s our responsibility to put the gift to use. Rendering useful service may be the key your looking for as to feeling like you have more of a purpose. I look at people in the world who give back useful service and in most cases they don’t have time to sweat the small stuff. A little goes a long way, and it’s all about FEELING GOOD!

Balance and Action

Most have us have been blessed with the opportunity to use our minds and bodies in so many ways. The mind and body are made to be in Action! Everyday is special! No matter what you are facing in your life. A lot of stresses we let into our life that really aren’t as big as they seem. Things all pass just the way they should. But when we take care or our mind and body it gives us more power to get through whatever situation is in front of us. Make physical and mental challenges a part of your daily ritual and see the awesome results in mind and body. The more energy we release the more relaxed and focused we become in the delicious expansion of our lives. You never completely know what your going to get. So let go of the paddles and go down stream with the flow of life. All that is good is available to all of us. It’s our right to succeed in life if we practice good habits. It’s easy to delve into bad ones. And even if you have a few bad ones as it’s only normal, counter them with good habits as well. It’s all a balance, and even moderation should be taken in moderation. Enjoy this beautiful Sunday wherever you are.

Compassion for all of you! Ryan
