The ride is on full throttle now baby! The only words that can describe the feeling of riding through the Cambodian country side is WOW! 55km on the bikes as on lookers and passer byes in local villages and vehicles warmed our sweaty bodies with smiles and laughs. Children were heard screaming beautiful heeeelloooooo’s…What a great experience, and I speak for the group as a whole when I say that it’s all so worth it. We’re all here to ride for a purpose and the whole time on the bike all I can think about is how beautiful this life is. No matter the circumstances of your daily routine, and whatever adversities you’ve been through. Just being present in the moment and doing your best is something I encourage everyone to focus on.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Somaly Mam for her efforts and acts of courage. I would would also like to take a moment to express my gratitude to Adam Martin, Izzy Katz and the whole team of people that make this possible. The Cambodian workers are amazing and such gentlle nice people who’s efforts haven’t gone unseen. This is only the beginning but already I’m blessed to have met amazing people that surely will be connected in my life forever.
A great dinner on the beach and a late night swim capped off the perfect day. Getting ready to saddle up for another ride today.
