Keep fit in Cambodia

Being a firm believer that fitness and health gives you a better stream of energy and adds vitality and life force to your overall well being, I did “keep fit” disco style on the river walk in Phnom penh. The instructor insisted I help lead the group, Mom you would be proud! I worked up one heck of a sweat. I truly believe that your mind and body are to be treated as your temple. And nothing feels better than a good sweat. I gave it my all but holly cow I was a little off beat as this group of people have been doing this for sometime obviously and everything comes in repetition. But after I got into the groove with many onlookers wondering who the heck this big foreigner was, who was new to the group I finally found my stride.

I don’t know why but I had many people stopping to take pictures and having a few laughs at my expense. All in good fun of course, I guess I just looked a tad out of place. But it made my day so fulfilled after a short visit to the killing fields and S-21. I couldn’t stay there long, if any of you are history buffs, that’s where millions of innocent Cambodians were killed for no reason. So I needed some positivity, and I’m glad a could amuse many of the onlookers. I train for body, mind and soul. It’s an inner release that lets the body energy flow in a natural state of wellness. I thank god for my body and how I can use it to do the many great things we are all meant to do. Stay active folks, your inner and outer being will thank you.
