Luang Prabang

The  contrast of life is what injects faith into my inner being. The unknown of unexplored lands that I haven’t yet been, connects me to this unexplainable feeling that I can’t put into words. I walked up a mountain side today to another beautiful temple where I met a some very interesting people from South America and New Zealand. We got onto the topic of the new energies of the universe and all this talk of “new thought” , “law of attraction” ect..I knew that our paths crossed for a reason. I felt a deep interconnectedness between these people. And I started to dig deep into my own subconscious mind. The “new thought” energies and beliefs, are they really “new thought”? Or are have these energies always been and always will be available to us as a species on this planet? My answer is YES!

I got into this conversation with the gentleman about meditations and allowing the energy of pure thought flow through your mind and body to purify your soul. Intending on meeting amazing people on a daily basis with positive expectation only leads to greater knowledge of this POWER we all have access too! I cherish those moments in time when I can feel the goodness in peoples hearts. especially the fact that we live so far away from each other and just ran into each other on the side of a beautiful mountain gazing down at the Mekong River. The Asian sun beading down on us while we shared similar stories about the river of life.

How the only thing we can control is our own thought patterns and intentions. It pays big dividends to love humanity and our planet which is a result of evolutionary change. This is a ever expanding changing universe which we as individuals have the capacity to make an impact for the better if we send out the positive thoughts that are easily available to all. This city is breathtaking. Yes indeed it’s a very poor country, but the feel is tremendous. I’m staying in a room that cost me fifteen dollars per night yet I feel better than I did the last time I stayed at a five star resort. The people are real and authentic. From my vantage point if your in this part of Southeast Asia make Luang Prabang a spot on your list. My desires of visiting the land came true as I’m visiting a massive waterfall tomorrow after visiting with some monks at 6am.
