Determination to make an impact.

As these lines are being typed I’m on day off from riding the 545 km journey from Vietnam to Angkor Wat Temple in Cambodia. Tomorrow the group of riders cross the border into Cambodia with excitement and anticipation to ride with love and compassion, backed by a sincere desire to be helpful. I’ve watched the group grow as a team since our start. I’ve been very blessed to ride with some amazing people who radiate awesome intentions to this cause. The open spaces and villages we ride through is an experience that is a once in a life time experience for many of us that we will remember for the rest of our lives. The sweat and energy that we as a group put into this journey is all put into perspective when we see who, and why we are riding for. The ride is the easy part. The emotions that are shared is the blessing, and the help that goes towards the cause is the gift we can all give with the generous donations from our friends, family and other people in the world that care about this epidemic. I stand proud with this team of riders. My gratitude goes out to the organized effort involved in the ride that will make a change for the KIDS!!! The down time today has been great, but I can speak on behalf of all the riders that we are ready to keep pushing on with intense desire to just be of useful service. As usual, friendships are made, learning about what drives others is shared. And the best part is, not only are we being of service, we get to see countries that have so much beauty and wonderful spirits spread far and wide. Tomorrows Valentines day, it’s a day to share LOVE, so all of us as a team are sending a happy Valentines to the world as a whole.
