Contrast of environments

I was hoping to stay off planes for a while and get  “grounded ” if you know what I mean. To think I used to be scared to death of planes, now it’s something I actually enjoy. Who knows maybe one day I’ll get my license. Just a few short weeks ago I was riding a bike across Vietnam and Cambodia, I was in just as much awe of all it’s beauty, starting with the people there, the landscape and the people I was riding with. I miss everyone I was on that ride with and I’m so very happy that I’ve been in contact with most. Yesterday I climbed an awesome hike in L.A. There was a lot of people with the obvious desire to be fit and healthy. The power that governs all things including our being wants us to be in action! Exploring and taking advantage of nature weather it be going for a nice walk, a run or whatever suits your needs. Believe me your body and mind will thank you! This year has flown by so far! I feel great that I’m doing what I love, meeting great people of like intent, but at times I wish the flow would slow down just a little. I love California and feel so grateful to be here. But I miss the simplicity of life in Cambodia. I miss the waves, the Hello’s from practically everyone you walk by. It’s obviously a massive contrast shift, but like anything else in life we need to embrace it. Embrace the here and now! Happy Sunday to all my friends…Smile and laugh lots, and if your feeling a bit down, go for a walk and enjoy the outdoors. (even if it’s raining)
