FISHING VILLAGE/CAMBODIA

Today I was in a small fishing village on the outskirts of Siem Reap. I was fortunate enough to get invited into a temple by some monks. They saw the necklace I was wearing and the bracelet I was given by the old monk in Thailand. So the next thing I know I’m getting dressed in traditional monk gear. And the eldest of the monks said he wanted to bless me. He said it was for victory wherever I go, family, long life and compassion. I was honored, but then I thought that no matter what I’ll always be victorious if I just give the best I can to everyone I meet along the journey of life. That everyday in this life is a chance to do good. The picture speaks for itself. It was intense, but just another experience that I’ll never forget.
