Bill

Clear as day I remember telling my mother at the age of 11 that we are “creators of our reality” on the way to a hockey game in Vancouver Canada. She looked at me like I was half nuts as I tried my best to explain at such an early age the art of “intention.” Heck I didn’t even know what that word meant until many years later. But I knew inside me the innate capacity instilled at birth that we can all create from the formless in any way, shape or form within the boundless capabilities of the human mind and soul.

I had just finished producing my first film a few summers back and was visiting a dear friend of mine in Telluride Colorado named Ray Cody. The town was rippling with intense energy as celebrities rubbed shoulders with film enthusiasts and locals. It just so happened that Bill Murray was in town for two days. I heard the news as I stayed at my good friends bed and breakfast. Not being a huge fan of crowds I avoided the small town of Telluride until the evening for a breath of beautiful mountain air. I heard that everywhere Bill went he was getting swarmed by thousands of people asking for pictures and autographs. I decided in my mind I would meet Bill on another level, personally and alone so I could have a discussion about life. How this was going to happen I didn’t know yet, but I knew it would. The minute I made up the decision I laid down in bed and began to breath deeply releasing all thoughts other than being fully emotionally engaged in a positive conversation with Mr. Murray. It had already happened in my mind, and for the next half hour or so I became so emotionally connected to this event happening as if it were real that there was no way it wouldn’t.

My purpose was to also give him a copy of the movie I produced so he could share it with his family. When the time felt right I walked over to the hotel he was staying at that I heard was nearby Rays. I felt it in my heart that Bill and I would get to know each other on this occasion,  but worse case I could always give the film to the bell man to give to him. As I made my way over to the hotel there wasn’t a person in sight, until I saw a white blacked out Escalade. I knew intuitively that Bill was in the truck while I walked patiently towards the truck where Bill and his wife got out of the vehicle. It didn’t surprise me the slightest as it somehow through the cosmos it  happened almost  just the way I saw it in my mind. “Hey Frank! ” I said. And he responded sarcastically…”That’s one of the names they call me.” He than reached out his hand and introduced himself as Bill and we ended up having a lengthy discussion about family, and the important things about life. He was tired of the fan fair and respected the fact that I only wanted to say a hello and gift him my film.

Now that doesn’t happen everyday, but…because of the power of focused thought it did come to pass. We talked for what seemed like an eternity with nobody around and he was one of the kindest men I met in some time. We went back and fourth with recites of Caddy Shack, one of my favorite movies. I gave him my film and we hugged it out with a cool goodbye. The process is simple, and can be used with things, people and of course circumstances. It was just confident, fearless and expectant of meeting someone that had always made me laugh. Those states of mind are key to achieving success and positive outlooks in life.I look forward to sharing with you another intended manifested encounter tomorrow.
