Happiness, like all else, is a state of mind. Consciousness is a virtual reality of experiences and emotions, set into play by many factors, internally and externally, it is what we feel then expose. There is momentary happiness, then degrees of happiness that go to the soul level which determines the direction we take our life in. Each chapter of our lives determines what makes us happy and teaches us about who we are, what we are becoming and what we need to work on to create balance and therefore happiness. You aren’t truly happy throughout life everyday because the day you stop learning about yourself is the day you die. We know that happiness is a state of mind, relative to the people, places and events we experience. Our emotional roller coaster, not to mention the way we look and act reflect who we are. If I didn’t have such harsh adversities that took me on the journey of healing, then I wouldn’t have fully engaged in the accolades of my own happiness. If you respect yourself, you will respect others. WE ALL HAVE PROBLEMS! all the Women and Men in this world do. There will always be the every day annoying things that happen to each and every one of us, but I try to plan around them, by not dragging out the problem by talking about it but by never attracting these experiences that cause me anger. So am I “truly” happy, no but am I happy with all the experiences, ups and downs that have caused guilt, misery and pain which almost lead me to suicidal thoughts? YES, I am happy, I am happy to have feelings so strong that I can have compassion towards others and love unconditionally not only myself as a survivor from sadness but also my family and friends that caused some of my grief but I look at it as they only helped me become stronger to succeed in my definite purpose for the world to see.
