Ever notice that when we have a thought of something weather it be positive or negative , another thought of like manner attaches itself to the thought and in no time our minds can be cluttered like a messy room? Happens to me all the time! But I know where the solution lies in many instances. Last night my brain was on overdrive. I want so badly to feel present all the time, and when I don’t I’m out of alignment , life gets overwhelming and if I’m not doing “something ” I get a little (or a lot stir crazy) welcome to the land of being a spiritual being living a human experience. Try and resist life for just a few moments and watch where your focus goes. So my cure last night around 8pm was listening to zen music and visualizing what I love, where I see myself as if I’m already there. I’m 90 percent always in nature in these visualizations. The mind is so very powerful that whatever we focus on always expands. What we call good expands just as readily as what we project to be bad! I stress the importance of grounding yourself through some form of mediation. It works! What and how is up to you, I’m not an expert. But I will say that I care enough of about myself and others that mediation is a good cure for bringing you back into alignment with your source. Relax and enjoy the process and after the experience is over we can all reflect on what was cluttering our minds in the first place. Usually it holds less value than we thought. I had a talk with my very good friend Sherry this morning about the present moment and nowness, how we just have to let the emotions come and at just the right moment our subconscious will let them go. Then we will feel more free and validated as a wonderful being full of love and light on this planet. Really try and focus on what you want today with little effort and I promise you it will expand.
