Spain was awesome, connected with some amazing people that made my experience one to remember. It doesn’t matter where you go in the world we as human beings may speak different languages and have different traditions but we are all truly connected in so many ways. I love seeing people laugh and dance to good music and I’ve been so blessed on this tour to have been touched by the lives of people on the same vibration. In Barcelona my friend Brian opened up his house and was the perfect host. He’s such good spirit and his love for orange juice kept me and my friends with an abundance of vitamin C. Brian I’m so grateful for meeting you and for your authenticity. It was a smooth flight to Rome which is so rich in history and what can I say about the food. But two days there was enough as the crowds can be a little overwhelming. Next stop Cinque Terre, arrived here yesterday Known to North Americans as the 5 villages. It was a 4 hour train ride here and we met some other Canadians that were traveling throughout Europe as well. It’s that time of year where everywhere around Europe is busy with people from all over the world.
We arrived in the last little town of Cinque Terre , Monterosso at just after 5pm and it was jammed, A little luck was on our side as we got the last room available. We dined at a friends restaurant that I met 10 months ago his name is Ciak. His in his 70s and has been living here since he was a small boy. He cooked his famous seafood pasta and it was to die for. After dinner we did some filming around the tiny town and it was so much fun to connect with people of all ages. It’s funny how much kids adore the camera.
So much positive energy is buzzing in this town. We met a group of really nice girls from California and a couple from Montreal that all were staying at our hotel. I just wanted to give all you guys an update and know that I’m thinking of all of you and it’s you guys that drive and inspire me to be the best person I can be. I have to keep this one short as I’m on the move and have to catch a boat in a few hours.
Talk soon friends Ryan
