UP AND DOWN…

“Up and down, up and down..geeesshh” That’s what my dad just said to me after a long morning working his tail off as usual. But…”now I’m off to the gym” he said. What a guy! Here’s a guy who was on his death bed a few years back from heart surgery, now he’s stronger than ever at the young age of 66. Works his own business that he loves, rendering useful service to others as a local handy man. He’s retired, so he he says, but still works at least 8hours a day and fits the gym into his schedule. That just tells me and all who watches his every move that the human mind and body is an instrument meant to be IN ACTION! Life does have it’s ups and downs, but it’s when we’re feeling the so called down times that we need to be even more grateful. He lives a unique life that inspires many people in his community to want to be a better person. He treats everyone the same, which is with respect and honour. He’s humble and gentle always lending a hand with a smile. So life rewards him! He’s intense like me. But no matter what he always does his best in everything he does. You know if we can all adapt those attributes into our life, leadership becomes easy. People take notice of your pleasing personality and just want to be around you. You attract good experiences in your life, and seldom do you find your self in the midst of self judgement. Two words to take to heart, LOVE LIFE! This life we live knocks us down at times, but if we’re able to get up and push forward that’s where the real rewards are reaped. So my suggestion is to sow good thoughts into the mental facility of your mind and soul. Send out the feeling good intentions everyday the second your feet hit the ground. And last but not least…GRATITUDE! The feelings we send out for being grateful for what we have and may not have determines a lot of what we stand for and will bring into our experience. Always take time for the people that need our help the most, but first and foremost take care of YOU!
